Now you can rent a VELORBIS bicycle and trailer at IKEA in Denmark!
About 20% of IKEA's customers ride their bicycles to the stores - even though most of then are located outside the cities. IKEA in Denmark has now introduced a free bicycle hire scheme with VELORBIS bicycles and trailers. You can borrow a bicycle and trailer to take home your newly purchased items.
To book your bicycle now, please visit our partner, Freetrailer website.

Velorbis; the mavericks of classic bicycle design, are pleased to announce their arrival in the US market and the launch of their exclusive range of urban icons.
Velorbis has made a strategic alliance with Boston-based The Dutch Bicycle Company; the largest importer of European classic style bicycles in the US. DBC has obtained exclusive distribution rights for the Velorbis brand in North America.
Dreams on Wheels is moving on to Sydney this month! Come and see the show and the VELORBIS collection of classic bicycles.
Velorbis is pleased to be included in a travelling exhibition about Danish bike culture which opened in Canberra, Australia earlier this month.
Dreams on Wheels is curated by Thomas Ermacora, founder of Etikstudio, for the Danish Foreign Ministry and is scheduled to travel to many cities around the world between now and the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen next year, called COP15. The show in Canberra accompanies the reopening of the Danish Embassy in the Australian capital. An earlier incarnation of the exhibition was shown at the Danish House in Paris, The Danish Design Centre in Copenhagen and the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto.
The concept is driven by the motivation to illustrate how a “cyclocentric” approach to urban development stimulates environmental concern and sustainable civic behaviour.
